Six primary schools in the Dunmow area have been recognised for their support of students with ADHD.

Felsted, Thaxted, Rodings, Great Bardfield, Great Dunmow and Stebbing primary schools - which are all part of the Dunmow Excellence in Education Partnership (DEEP) cluster - have earned the ADHD Friendly Schools Award.

The ADHD Foundation Neurodiversity Charity awarded the schools for putting in place methods to help students feel included and succeed, especially those with ADHD and other conditions.

Bryony Collins, headteacher at Felsted Primary, said: "This partnership of schools has taken a significant step to support pupils with neurodiversity.

"Our staff’s dedication has made a positive impact, and our children have benefitted immensely. We’re committed to continuing this journey."
